Due to the size and weight of some of our orders, shipments are often handled via freight carrier. In such an instance, customers will need to be home to sign for the delivery. Carriers will call ahead to arrange delivery to your home address. It does not include inside or outside placement or removing the packaging.
Shipping Time is measured from when your order is placed and processed. Shipping time can vary between 3-10 business days.
Shipping Terms & Agreements
Many of the products available on this website are delivered via a freight carrier. Some of these deliveries require a delivery appointment to assist with the unloading of goods, along with inspecting and signing for the delivery. When the shipment arrives near your location, you will be contacted by the carrier to arrange a delivery appointment. While the carrier may allow some flexibility in appointment times, lengthy delays in appointments may result in storage fees. Outdoor Space Store is not responsible for such fees.
The carrier will deliver as close to your property (curbside) as is accessible to the vehicle. Many deliveries will include liftgate services to assist with offloading the pallet from the truck. The driver is under no obligation to assist with the unloading of the shipment; therefore, it is recommended that the carrier will deliver as close to your property (curbside) as is accessible to the vehicle. It is very import that you thoroughly inspect the delivery and document ANY damage that you see on the bill of lading/delivery receipt that you sign. Failure to document such findings may result in delays or even the inability to resolve such claims.
Some freight services are prepaid; however, you may request additional services of the carrier (two-man delivery, inside delivery, lift gate, or address change) once the carrier contacts you. These services may involve additional charges and are not the responsibility of Outdoor Space Store.
For All Delivery Types:
Outdoor Space Store is not responsible for deliveries that are misdirected due to an incorrect shipping address, including any fees incurred from misdirected deliveries. If a shipment cannot be delivered successfully because of invalid shipping address, or if no one is available to accept/sign for the delivery after an extended period, the carrier may need to return the shipment to the warehouse. If this should occur, after a reasonable attempt has been made to make these arrangements with the recipient, a refund for the purchase will be provided, minus shipping fees.

Damage during Transit report within 2 days:
Damage needs to be reported within 2 days of receipt of the item. Please notify us as soon as possible. In the event of damage during shipping, we require photographs of the damaged item and the damage to the shipping container. We also require that you save the actual box and packing material that was damaged in transit (carrier requirement). Save all papers also. Damaged goods qualify because of packages being allegedly disturbed or harmed by the shipping carrier (i.e. UPS, FedEx, etc.).
Defective merchandise allowed within 30 days:
Defective return requests require detailed reasons and descriptions related to the nature of said defective merchandise
Non-defective merchandise allowed within 30 days:
For delivered merchandise that involves "buyer remorse" or other non-defective or non-damaged reasons for return
Return Shipping Charges or Restock Charges:
Customers are responsible to pay return shipping charges or restock charges. We will pay return shipping if the return is a result of our error.
